News: National Citizen Service details published

The government has published details of the National Citizen Service (NCS) pilot programme for 2011.

For potential providers of the programme, this provides a further idea of what the programme will look like and indications of the process for commissioning providers. The pilot in 2011 will involve recruiting 10,000 young people and the government is stressing the intention to recruit young people from a diverse range of backgrounds to work together on activities.
