The nine principles of youth action

Youth action is a successful approach to encouraging young people to engage with communities, enabling them to become active in their own time, meet other young people, gain skills, have fun and develop responses to community needs.

At the heart of youth action is giving young people real opportunities to play a key role in the design, delivery and evaluation of projects.

The driving force behind all of our work is the nine principles of youth action. Taken together they describe what makes an excellent youth action opportunity.
